Service and food is excellent! The theme change every day is great because it gives you more choices so it's like going to a different restaurant in the week (The change is where on Thursday, it's Mexican, Friday is seafood, Saturday is Italian, and so on)! I have never gone to chuck a rama feeling like a burden. You can enter 10 minutes to closing and the staff will be more than happy to let you in! 20 minutes after closing, they'll ask if your done with the main food (Not including dessert) and of not, they're fine with that and if you are, they're also fine with that! Although it might be a little expensive, it definitely pays off.

Had dinner with family at the Chuck-R-Rama in Ammon. I usually enjoy the entire experience, but this time I noticed that several workers (at least six) had shirts that said: “BUFFET SECURITY.” I’ve never seen a restaurant with so much “security.” My party was worried that we would be accosted if we ate more than a single plate. What’s next, holding customers at gunpoint for having one too many French fries? This was a terrible experience.

We've always had a good experience here. Seems to be better quality than most other buffet restaurants. We like how they have a different "main entree" for each day of the week, in addition to the daily regular items. Our favorite days are Saturday, which is Italian, and Thursday, which is Mexican. The staff here is great and always friendly. Highly recommend.

This place has a lot of seating...like a lot. But limiting what they have to offer food wise. Very small food selection. They use mirrors to have a perception of a larger area, but truly small. One of the smallest buffets I have ever been too. Service is good, food selection is the main reason you go...not worth the $$$

The food was fresh and hot (we went around 6pm on a Saturday) and it wasn't completely packed either, although still busy. Food was refilled quickly if it went out. Decently priced for adults and a progressive pricing system for children based on age. 3 and under eat free. It was a good experience. Only rating 4 stars because of the variety, or lack there of, otherwise a good choice for a buffet (and one of the only for this area)

This places is not worth it!!!!! The food isn't that good and its way too expensive. I would give this place 0/5 if it weren't for 2 things 1- Drink selection is amazing they have so many soda options. 2- The ROLLS!!! They make the best rolls and the honeybutter is closer to frosting than butter. They are so good I will usually just eat as many rolls as I can cram in my mouth. Final thoughts- Do the rolls make up for the overpriced, tv dinner quality food? Look back at how many stars I gave them, YES!

We had an amazing experience here yesterday. All the food was good, we had a group of about 9 and they had a table ready for us in less than a minute. Our waitress was awesome. She never let our table get cluttered or our drinks get too low.

Wow that was expensive but my nephew has always wanted to go here. He had about 5 full plates of food and ate it all as well as 3 big desserts. For a 14 yr old he packed it away. I on the other hand did not think it was that great. And the so called waiter got us drinks once. I could have easily have gotten it the first time since he got me regular Dr. Pepper and not diet like I asked. The salad bar was great, lots of options but the cooked food left a lot to be desired. After two plated attempts, I gave up. The "lava cake" was nasty.

My wife and I went because we have always loved Chuck a Rama. Most of the food was obviously out for a while and the food selection was definitely smaller than it was even a year ago. I feel like they are more interested in the bottom line than quality food anymore as well. I also feel like the recent price hikes to get in reflect that as well. In any case, the food was ok and I don't want to give it two stars unless they let me down multiple times, this time may have been a fluke.

I would give this place a 5 star review but it was so hot in the dinning room were you sit that I couldn't hardly eat. And I'm not a huge woman or skinny but the booths are way to small and you can't move the table I'm pregnant and hut my belly pretty bad. I wanted a booth so bad because the table heights at the booth acomidate the highchair better than the tables and the booths are supposed to be more comfortable. Aswell it's a health code violation if you let an employee work with a cold, laughing and sniffling on the food in the front. Like we love this place but it's things like this that makes it to were we won't come back. You y'all just trying to jam all those tables in there for more customers but they can't fit!

Chuck-a-rama is exactly what a buffet should be. They have lots of selection. They mix it up each time you go. They have good service for the price. They keep the food well stocked. They are welcoming of large groups and young children. If you are looking for a A+ prime rib then you'll have to spend more money. If you are looking for a way to feed severals kids on a budget and make sure they get something they like then you have found the place. No shame in sending a plate back full of food you tried and didn't like. Then try again. No risk in ordering here.

What’s not to like about chuck a Rama for dinner? This place is clean and does a good job of keeping food ready to be eaten. They don’t have a massive amount of options but what they do have is sufficient to keep a growing boy fed for sure. The quality is good and the staff is friendly. This restaurant works well for my dietary needs because I utilize the ketogenic way of eating. I like big salads with specific non starchy vegetables, various cheeses, seeds, hard boiled eggs, topped with their cilantro lime dressing. So yummy! There's usually plenty of acceptable proteins to pick from along with unsweetened iced tea or diet sodas with lemon wedges. The staff is friendly and the restrooms and dining areas are clean. Plus...they have AC...yay!!

After working on the farm all day I was looking forward to good satisfying dinner. The staff was friendly and the building was clean, however, the food was totally unacceptable. The diet Coke was good in fact the diet Coke was the only thing that good. All I could taste on the breaded shrimp and fish was bread and grease. The turkey in the potatoes and carrots was like mashed potatoes soft and no flavor, two bites to make sure it really was gross and I thru the rest away, this sounds bad but I would not have taken it home to my dog. I was able to eat some of the deserts that truly were as cheap/low quality as I think you could find any where, but since it was all store bought it was somewhat edible. I am anything but a picky eater but this meal was truly not good. Had I not been with my elderly parents I would have ask for our money back which is something I have only had to do a few times in my life. There are may other choices for a buffet dinner if that is what you want, For the better part of $50 I feel like the three of us were scammed out of an expensive dinner we were looking forward too on Friday evening. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Love Chuck-A-Rama. The food is great and I love how you can just get what you want. My only complaint is that it does get pretty busy sometimes. I also wish Italian Day wasn't on Saturdays, as I love Italian food but avoid going on Saturdays because of the large weekend crowds. But, aside from that, it's still our family's favorite place to eat.

The reason I give 3 stars is for the following reason. There is quite a variety of food down there and a lot of deserts, the personnel is very friendly and helpful. However, the quality of food is hard to call outstanding - it's fine, normal. Nothing special about the food but it's also not bad. Some of the things that I noticed is a lot of the elderly and the plates or cups aren't always clean. It's not difficult to find clean supplies but you lose appetite when see a piece of carrot in a 'clean' cup. You have to pick the clean ones, thus three stars.

SO MANY OPTIONS! The thing that I like about Chuck-A-Rama is the variety. It is easy for the whole family, even with picky kids. Their FRIES and FRY SAUCE are perfect. Drinks are included (unlike another buffet) and the wait staff is attentive. And then there is DESSERT! Delicious! Tons of choices and all very tasty. Those cinnamon pull aparts, are amazing. It is TIME to EAT, let's Go!

Great selection of food. Tonight was Italian night. Good fresh salad bar, Dutch oven seasoned chicken, turkey pot roast with carrots and potatoes (tastes as good/better than the traditional beef), and really tasty Lasagna. Much more I didn't mention. We'll be back... Again, and again.

Terrible place. Over heard employee talk to other employees, more like brag about family drama and the horrible stuff that was said by an employee named Ashley bierma. Will not return to this place and ill be contacting corporate. I can't believe of the drama that is talked about in front if customers. Horrible place.
