Clearly a home town favorite! Homemade food, excellent variety, generous portions, fairly priced. Friendly waitstaff. We enjoyed the BLT, a brisket sandwich and a taco salad. Followed supper with some handcrafted rice crispy treats, Raspberry struesel bread and a whopper pie. We'll be back!

I have been able to eat at 211 on several occasions and I have never been disappointed! If you live in the Lavonia area or are planning a visit to the area do yourself a favor and stop by the 211and make sure that after your meal you have a piece of their wonderful cake or even take home a cake or loaf of their freshly baked bread!

This place is awesome. I think it is a fair price (not that horrible) for the quality of food you get. My biggest complaint is they need add more dishes. Yes on Mondays they do burgers, but because Lavonia is not a big town, we eat at this place often, so I would like to see little more variety of food. When you sit down they bring you samples of bread that are great. I have tried different foods at this place (salads to sandwiches) and everything has been delicious. Save room for dessert. You know the dessert is good when you look around and see 60% of the tables ordering pies or cakes, etc. If you love it so much, you can pickup all the back goods and take it home. We eat at this place often when we are in town and the staff has always been friendly. Two recommendations. Before going to this place, check the hours because they are not open late. Also the second recommendation is expect for lunch to wait around 10 minutes (longest I had to wait was 20 minutes). This a must place to eat!

We went on a Friday night, and had dinner. I recommend the meatloaf and the ribeye. They were delicious. Others in our party got sandwiches, and they're all on homemade bread. The desserts are amazing. I tried the citrus cake, and it was 6 layers. Highly recommend!

A wonderful surprise in downtown Lavonia. They are only open for dinner on Friday nights, so plan accordingly - but far and away one of the best dining options in the area. Most things are made in-house, including breads and desserts. And the strawberry cake is amazing. They even had house-made no sugar options! If you can't make Friday dinner, stop in for lunch one weekday....

It is very busy at lunchtime but they are quick to get the food ready and it's worth waiting for anyway! Awesome, just awesome! This is the best way to explain your experience with this restaurant. It is always busy, but the friendly staff will get you seated as quickly as possible. Sandwiches made with fresh bread and ingredients with chips and other sides are worth the wait! But whatever you do, leave room for dessert...! You'll have to pick your jaw from the floor and stop the drool when your server brings the dessert platter to your table! Then when you leave, you have the chance to take 211 home with a selection of bread and other goodies at the checkout. Don't miss your chance to wake up your taste buds...

Have been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions with favorable service, however on this visit we were seated and were NEVER acknowledged by anyone other than the greeter. Upon entrance until we were seated, others stared at us as if we had two heads. (I wonder if it was because we did not look like them). We were seated immediately because there were at least FIVE empty tables. We were seated in a visible area, but were never acknowledged by any of the servers and there were some standing and visiting with the "locals". After twenty minutes we left explaining to the cashier who only said, "Oh sorry". #notwelcome #reflection of the times. Sad we could not experience the food we were expecting.

The food and especially the CAKE are amazing. Very disappointed after calling 2 days in a row to make and confirm reservations for our family and after we drove an hour to get here they told us they don’t take reservations. As someone with a limited disability it is upsetting they will not honor our reservation so now I have to stand around and wait for a table. Had they told me they didn’t accept reservations we would have chosen a different place.

Cheesecake is amazing. Cupcakes are moist, but lacking in original taste. The red velvet cupcake was without the traditional cream cheese frosting which left the overall cupcake too sweet and the frosting wasn't that impressive. The chocolate peanut butter cupcake was also overly sweet and the taste of peanut butter was lacking. The customer service was less than impressive as the cashier was not friendly in the least. For the cost, I will prepare my own desserts in the future, unless it is the cheesecake and I want lackluster assistance.

I am completely disappointed with the service from this establishment! When my now husband and I went in for a cake tasting, charity was 20 mins late, she was not organized or ready in any way for the meeting. She had a vibe of not wanting to be there and she was very unpleasant to be around. When we told Charity that we had another tasting the next day, she just got up and walked off and did not return. The only reason we chose 211 to make our wedding cake is because of how the cake tastes. I called Charity over a month and a half before the weeding to order cupcakes to add to our wedding cake and asked if she wanted to see the cake topper to ensure that the cake was made properly to be able to handle the topper. She told me to bring the topper by. a week before the wedding she called me and asked if i was the one wanting cupcakes and that she forgot who was wanting them... My fiancé at the time brought in the topper to Charity at least Five weeks before the wedding. On the day of the wedding when Charity put the cake together, she broke the cake topper. The cake was made without the popper stability to hold the topper and it fell. She did not give any remorse about it; she didn't even try to fix it. When my now husband was trying to talk to her, she just looked at the cake pretending to work with it while he was speaking to her. She did not even say sorry. She left. The wife of the best man had to miss the entire wedding ceremony to go and find another cake topper so that i would not know what had happened before the wedding. I cannot believe that Charity did not even try to fix the problem!!! I will never set foot back in this establishment except to talk to the owner about the unexcusable actions and service.

So, the food was good but I can get a southwestern salad in quite a few other places. The problem was the service. We never once saw our server. They were at shift change I guess.... At 1pm by the way, and the server leaving ended up getting our order after 20 minutes. Then, she said she'd get who was taking over. 15 minutes later she came back and just took our order thankfully, but then left. Some random server brought our food. The air conditioning started leaking on our table. Terrible experience.

You can order to go, get the special of the day or eat in or order from the menu or the special for the day. Everyone goes there....the locals and the travelers.....if you can get a parking.place!!! Hahaha....very busy!
